The best summers are ones highlighted by sunshine and hot dog-filled trips to the diamond to see your favorite Major League Baseball club play nine innings. And if you’re a Chicago Cubs, Boston Red Sox or New York Yankees super-fan, why not take your ballpark bucket list one step further and get a chance to meet your favorite players?
Fanatics Presents is bringing fans of these three storied clubs the opportunity of a lifetime throughout May and June 2019, rolling out a trio of Fanatics Presents evenings where fans can purchase ticket packages to meet-and-greet and take photos with star players amid an intimate night of fan-centered engagements.
Red Sox fans will get a chance to mingle with the star outfielders Andrew Benintendi, Mookie Betts, and Jackie Bradley Jr. on May 16 in Boston. Anthony Rizzo, Kris Bryant & Javy Baez will headline a dream night for Cubs fans on June 6 in Chicago, when the three 2016 World Series champs all gather under the same roof. And last but certainly not least, Yankees fans get the opportunity to see the living legend Aaron Judge on June 19.

Super VIP Meet-and-Greet
Perhaps the only moment sweeter than watching your favorite players win a big game on the diamond, is actually getting the chance to meet them face-to-face, share some conversation and of course, take pictures.
Only a select few MVP Packages will be sold for the Cubs, Red Sox and Yankees evenings. That’s because each set of fans who purchase the package will get a couple minutes to interact with the superstar players.
Some face-time is just the first perk of the Super VIP Meet-and-Greet. Each fan with the ticket package can bring their own item to get autographed by the players, or we can provide an item based on inventory availability.
Following your chat with the players and autograph time, MVP Package fans get the chance to grab a professional photo with the players for an awesome everlasting keepsake. Just in case anyone doubts your stories at the office water cooler the next day.
These Fanatics Presents evenings are chock-full of special moments for fans, but the Super VIP Meet-and-Greet undoubtedly becomes the one shining moment for the fans who get VIP access.
Photo Opportunity
While MVP Package fans get the most intimate chance to spend time chatting it up with the players, folks who purchase the All-Star Package also get the rare chance to snap a professional photo with the players.
We’ll send you both a digital version of your picture with the players, as well as a printed 8 x 10 photo that will be mailed to you after the event.
Cocktail Hour
Before all the festivities begin, fans who buy either ticket package will get the chance to enjoy a nice cocktail hour to ease into the evening.
While the featured players make their way to the venue, fans get a chance to mingle with an esteemed member of the club they’re there to see.
At the Chicago event, Cubs fans will get to mingle with Cubs Hall of Famer Andre Dawson and take photos with the legend. In Boston, Red Sox fans get to meet an active player, Steve Pearce, who happens to be the reigning World Series MVP.
The host at the Yankees / Aaron Judge event on June 19 is still yet to be determined, but given the Bronx Bombers’ history, fans can expect a household New York name.
Chalk Talk
There’s no doubting that the MVP Package’s VIP Meet-and-Greet stands out as the most special moment, but the Chalk Talk provides a unique look into the players’ personal lives that fans rarely get to see through the lens of sports media.
With the hosts (Guerin Austin in Boston) taking to the stage to host the Chalk Talk, the conversation’s direction quickly resembles that of a couple of players sitting around the locker room and dishing out entertaining stories. Hot topics like the Cubs’ historic World Series run in 2016, or the Red Sox outfielders’ dancing routine that captivated baseball, or anything in between, fans are sure to get a very cool glimpse into the minds of their favorite players.
Watching guys like Kris Bryant, Aaron Judge or Mookie Betts dominate the sport of baseball in recent years can make fans awfully star-struck when they’re right in front of them. But the Chalk Talk provides a unique opportunity for fans to see the human side of these stars and show that they’re a lot like us after all.
Three-Course Dinner
With fans in the MVP Package getting front-row tables, all fans at the events will be treated to a fantastic three-course dinner while the Chalk Talk goes on.
We’ll have several different options for dinner to suit any dietary preferences.
