The Rams are Super Bowl LVI champions, after winning the big one and toppling the Cincinnati Bengals by the score of 23-20 in the Rams’ home base of SoFi Stadium on February 13, 2022. Standing up to the test on the biggest stage, quarterback Matthew Stafford led his Rams to the championship, etching his name into LA sports lore and NFL history.

Things started out in Super Bowl 56 quite well for the Rams, who jetted out to a 13-3 lead early on through frequent pressure on Joe Burrow and an early touchdown from Odell Beckham Jr. But once OBJ went down with an injury and the Bengals got their game going offensively, things turned quickly.
The Rams had to fight back late in the fourth quarter, getting stop after stop defensively to keep them in within scoring distance. Stafford and the offense finally got a late drive going, with a grueling 15-play drive led by constant connections between the QB and Copper Kupp.
At the one-yard line, Kupp was of course the go-to guy, as Stafford hit him for the championship winning touchdown. Burrow and the Bengals got the ball back with 1:25 left, but Aaron Donald sacked Burrow on fourth-and-one to clinch the championship.
Cooper Kupp home the Super Bowl MVP honors after a spectacular performance under the bright lights, finishing with 8 catches for 92 yards and two touchdowns in an outing that helped etch his name into Super Bowl lore.
Every athlete on the two rosters has already accomplished so much just by making it to this big stage, but showing up through the intense pressure and magnifying glass that is Super Bowl Sunday requires insane levels of determination.
From the all-around media coverage and events, to the uber-extended halftime break, the only thing the Super Bowl has in common with a regular NFL game, is that it’s still four quarters and 60 minutes long. After all, they shared the same stage as Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem and more, so it’s not your average atmosphere.
At the end of it all, the LA Rams players and coaches showed up under pressure, and delivered their city an unforgettable championship triumph.
