According to OHT’s mission, “Operation Hat Trick generates awareness and support for the recovery of wounded service members and veterans through the sale of OHT branded merchandise and products, proceeds of which are donated to selected organizations that fulfill the OHT mission.”
Operation Hat Trick in Action
OHT is dedicated to providing support for the visible and invisible wounds of war. It helps service members heal from trauma so they can focus on their families and lives at home. One way OHT helps veterans live their lives is by paying for equipment for amputees. The organization also partners with veteran camps that support veterans at substance abuse centers, provide care, and much more to help veterans rebuild their lives.
OHT has donated more than $3 million since 2014 to organizations that fill critical gaps in the care of veterans. With one employee, a board of directors, and hundreds of volunteers, OHT shows veterans that their lives off the battlefield are just as valuable as their lives on the battlefield.
Organizations like Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Veterans Count, the Navy SEAL Foundation, the Travis Mills Foundation, Semper Fi Fund, the Yellow Ribbon Fund, Homes for Our Troops, Hidden Wounds, Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors, and many more have benefited from OHT.
