Best Places to Watch The Peach Bowl

This year’s Peach Bowl will be a huge milestone. It’s the 50th Peach Bowl, and fans will see No. 12 UCF Knights take on No. 7 Auburn Tigers at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, on Jan. 1, 2018.

If you don’t have tickets for the game or you aren’t planning a roadtrip to Atlanta on New Year’s Day, don’t fret. There are plenty of amazing spots in Orlando or Auburn to take in all the action with local fans that are as fervent as you.

Auburn Tigers

17-16

The unique name of 17-16 comes from the final score of a classic 1972 Auburn game when the Tigers bested heavily favored rival Alabama by a score of – you guessed it – 17-16. The locale is heavy on the Auburn love and trolls Bama hard, making it the perfect spot for a Peach Bowl viewing party.

Halftime

With a name like Halftime, you know this Auburn hotspot is up for plenty of football watching. They have a full menu (wings, burgers, and apps galore), and a ton of drink specials that would go very well with taking in your Tigers at the Peach Bowl.

Baumhower’s Restaurant

There are Baumhower’s all over Alabama, but the one in Auburn is, of course, the one you’d head to for the Peach Bowl. For burgers that are (probably) bigger than your head and plenty of TVs to take in the game, it’s a definite sweet spot for Tigers fans.

UCF Knights

Knight Library

The Knight Library opened its doors in 2005 and quickly became a go-to spot for the college crowd. To no surprise (look at its name!), they rock game day with watch parties and sweet specials. Cheer your Knights on with scads of like-minded fans.

The Basement

The Basement is a downtown Orlando destination for those looking to check out the local bar scene while taking in a game. They also serve tacos, which is a total win-win. Additionally, they have a pretty unique promotion during Knights game days: free beer every game until the team loses. That’s right – actual free beer.

Wall Street Plaza

If you’re up for a little variety (or can’t make up your mind on where to go), head to Wall Street Plaza, which is a nifty complex of bars, restaurants, and nightclubs packed into one city block. Food, drinks, and football (plus plenty of local fans rooting on the Knights) make the Wall Street Plaza a natural choice for watching the Peach Bowl.

A Peach Bowl Party

No matter if you’re rooting for the Knights or Tigers, make sure you’re on point by heading to Fanatics for some quality NCAA gear.
